Your account

Changing your name, photo, email, or password, verifying your address, and why your subdomain is the one thing that cannot change.

Your name, photo, email, and password all live in Settings, under Account and Password. Change any of them anytime; none of it affects your page links.

Your subdomain is the exception. It's baked into every published link and can't be changed, so the name you picked at signup is your address for good.

Change your name or photo

Name: in Settings, under Account, click the pencil next to Name, type a new one (up to 60 characters), and click Save. Leave it empty to go back to showing your subdomain name.
Photo: in the same card, click Upload photo (or Change photo) and pick an image. It's cropped square automatically. Remove goes back to the plain circle. If you have a Gravatar tied to your email, PageSumo starts from that.

Change your email

In Settings, under Account, click the pencil next to Email, enter the new address, and click Save.

Double-check for typos before saving. The change is immediate and no confirmation email goes to the new address. That address is now what you sign in with and where PageSumo writes to you.

Changed it before verifying your account? The original verification email went to the old address. Click Resend email in the banner and a fresh link goes to the new one.

Change your password

In Settings, scroll to the Password card, enter your Current password, your New password, and Confirm new password, then click Update password. At least 8 characters. You stay signed in.

Reset a forgotten password

On the log in page, click Forgot your password?
Enter your email, complete the bot check, and click Send reset link. If an account exists for that email, a link arrives. It expires in 1 hour.
Open the link, enter a new password, and click Update password.

Resetting signs you out everywhere, so log in again with the new password. Expired link? Request another from the same page.

Verify your email

A verification link is sent when you sign up, and a banner in the dashboard asks you to click it. You'll see "Email verified" when it lands.

Can't find it? Check spam, or click Resend email in the banner. Resends are limited, so if several have gone out, give it an hour. If a link says it's invalid or expired, log in and resend a fresh one.

Create an account

Go to the signup page and enter your Email and a Password (at least 8 characters).
Choose your Subdomain. Your pages publish at subdomain.pagesumo.com, and this cannot be changed later, so pick one you're happy to keep. If it's taken, try another.
Complete the bot check and click Create account. Signing up agrees to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

You sign in with your email and password, not your subdomain.

Common questions

"Too many attempts. Try again later." Nothing is wrong with your account. Signing in, changing your email or password, requesting reset links, and resending verification emails are all limited to a few tries in a short window. Wait a few minutes and try again.

Can I change my subdomain? Not today. It's shown read-only in Settings, under Account. Your display name is separate and freely changeable.

How do I delete my account? There's no self-serve deletion yet. Send a message from Help in the dashboard and the team will handle it; see Contact support. You can delete individual pages yourself anytime from each page's Page details tab.
